Editing to dos

 

When working on any part of the task

  • Once you complete your part, even if you are not uploading a file, respond with confirmation, and next steps. Example: “Finished editing google doc (shared above), @ Melanie can now send to Mailchimp.”
  • If you are only in charge of posting the content to social media but it still needs to be sent on Mailchimp by someone else, you still need to say “Posted on socials” so everyone knows what has been done.
  • If you are adding new edits but now need someone to review, tag them. Example: “Just added comments per [client]’s request. @ Alex please review before we post to socials and Mailchimp blast.”

 

 

 When adding new drafts/information

  • DOUBLE CHECK- if you are sharing to the client (yellow bar at the top of the page).
  • Also check your wording if you are sharing it with a client. Don’t say anything you wouldn’t want them to see.

 When adding new documents for client

  • Share every format needed- if it is a design for socials, we need all sizes (IG square, FB banner, LI, etc.)
  • The client only gets low res 1000px jpgs only not print PDFs
    • For web files, so the size is not too large
  • If these are files for print, share both “with” and “without” bleeds for client
    • Include a mockup
